Membership Eligibility

All persons who are interested in the mission of the Chapter shall be eligible for membership upon completion of the membership application form.

Membership Admission

Patient members, and sustaining members who are families of patient members, are automatically members of the Manitoba Chapter upon completion of the membership application form.

People who are neither patients nor family of patients may be admitted as sustaining members by a majority vote of the Board upon their application for membership.

 

Membership Types

Members are designated a “type” in order to deliver select services and select programs to those living with an inherited bleeding disorder. The Client Services Policy outlines the services that are designated to “Patient” members. Most education programs and all social events are open to all Chapter members.

Patient

Individuals diagnosed as having hemophilia or any other inherited bleeding disorder.

Sustaining

Families of patients and others who desire to support the mission of the Chapter.

Honorary

This shall be conferred by the Board on individuals in recognition of outstanding or noteworthy achievement in furtherance of the mission of the Chapter.
