FreeVector-Blood-DropSaturday April 18th the membership of CHS-MC gathered at Delta Winnipeg for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and 50th Anniversary banquet. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and to enjoy the historical displays in the foyer!

The AGM includes a review by the membership of all the business of the Chapter. Chapter President, John Rogasky reviewed the many activities of the Chapter in 2014 in his President’s Report. Bill Featherstone, Chapter Treasurer, presented the Financial Statement for 2014 and the membership approved the budget for 2015.

A Constitution Committee was formed in 2014 to review the CHS-MC document and recommend any changes to the membership. The last review had been done in 2008. The membership approved a collection of amendments. A Vision Statement was added to the CHS-MC Constitution. A vision statement is an aspirational description of what an organization would like to achieve or accomplish in the mid-term or long-term future. The CHS-MC vision statement is;

Manitobans living free from the challenges of inherited bleeding disorders

At the AGM the membership was introduced to the 2015/2016 Board of Directors who were inducted by acclamation:
