On Sunday, June 9th it took an army of Chapter volunteers one hour just to take all the donations out of the office to the back parking lot! Customers lined-up all morning to make their purchases. The sale had a little pause by lunch time and then picked up again until close at 2 pm. The sale made $1450 for Programs and services for Manitobans with inherited bleeding disorders. We were so grateful that the rain held off until the sale was over.

Thank you to everyone who made donation to the sale over the past few months. It was overwhelming how much stuff we had to sell. A special thank you goes to Marilyn Decker who had all her friends and family clean out their homes for the sale.

Thank you to Victoria Markstrom and Bruce Cameron who sorted the donations.

Thank you to the amazing crew of volunteers who worked at the sale. These people worked so hard and were so much fun to be with: Bruce and Katherine Cameron, Bev Jones, Ashley Tolton, John and Donna Rogasky, Shane Keilback, Mark & Laura Townshend, Gerrard Miller, Lydia Bulat, Susan Ross, Lara, Jaron and Michaela Rykiss, Genevieve Jones, Mario Bieringer, Dominick Jones-Bieringer, Nora Schwetz, Judith Campbell, Crystal Dueck, Bill Featherstone, Dana Beljanic, Marilyn Decker and Lynda Regan.

We have distributed the items that were unsold. All of the clothes and cookware have gone to the West Central Women’s resource Center and everything else went to Value Village. Proceeds from the sale all go to Chapter programs and services.
