Membership Eligibility

All persons who are interested in the mission of the Chapter shall be eligible for membership upon completion of the Membership Registration form.

Membership Registration

Regular members are automatically members of the Manitoba Chapter upon completion of the membership registration form.

People who are neither patients nor family of patients may be admitted as Associate members by a majority vote of the Board upon their application for membership.

Membership Types

Members are designated a “type” in order to deliver select services and select programs to those living with an inherited bleeding disorder. The Client Services Policy outlines the services that are designated to “Regular” members. Most education programs and all social events are open to all Chapter members.

Regular Member: People diagnosed with an inherited bleeding disorder and/or immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, grand-parents, spouse) of those diagnosed.

Associate Member: Individuals desiring to support the above stated mission of the chapter, and whose names appear on the membership list thirty (30) days prior to the Annual General Meeting.

Health Care Provider Member: Health care providers treating people with inherited bleeding disorders.

Honorary Member: Individuals who have made an outstanding achievement towards furthering the mission of the organization
