It is with great sadness that we announce that Rose Jacobson, RN, is leaving the bleeding disorders program. Rose has given devoted service to our families in Manitoba and North Western Ontario for many years and will be sorely missed. Rose developed a special relationship with our families at camp.  She is well known to all for her amazing ability to find a vein and for her ability to find solutions to complex problems.  Rose and the Chapter are working together to have her come to camp this summer. Stay tuned!

In 2004, CHS National recognized Rose with the Award of Appreciation for outstanding service to the care of people with inherited bleeding disorders over and above their responsibilities as a member of the hemophilia health care team. The Manitoba Chapter recognized Rose in 2012 with the Special Recognition Award for her dedication to the membership over many years.

Join us for the chance to come and say goodbye and thank you to Rose Jacobson! The Bourkevale Community Center, 100 Ferry Rd, Winnipeg, offers us a playground and field for the kids to play games and we have the hall in case of poor weather. www.mybourkevale.com The Chapter will provide sandwiches, drinks and cake. If you’d like to bring something, please feel free.

Please let us know if you and your family are coming. We want to be sure to have food and activities for everyone! 204.775.8625 or email info@hemophiliamb.ca.
